I want to personally welcome you to our new Liars’ ledger on Substack. This is where we will share longer form articles, media criticism and some bonus content on popular culture with our subscribers.
Why Substack when you have CrooksandLiars.com?
Everything on the internet changed after the election of Joe Biden in 2020. Mark Zuckerberg turned Facebook into a right wing plaything while Elon Musk converted Twitter into a virtual white supremacist haven.
CrooksandLiars.com will continue to bring the same rapid-fire articles we have since 2004, but we wanted to create a space where we could explore themes and have a place to expand upon the work we do on the website. Expect some culture, some history, and more.
Our Team
Andrea Thompson is our lead writer. She also writes for CrooksandLiars.com and will be bringing her special style of reporting to Liars’ Ledger. Karoli Kuns will contribute and also serve as managing editor, and John Amato (me!) will be contributing occasional articles, too.
